Dora Meredith elected as Guild President

DORA Meredith was crowned President in front of a packed Debating Hall on Saturday evening, with a second round majority of 819.
Meredith accumulated 2461 votes to Nick Petrie’s 1642 after the second round, that saw Sharmake Abyan eliminated earlier on.
It was revealed that the votes cast for James Williams, who was disqualified after the close of ballots on Friday, would be redistributed based on preference votes.
Meredith’s win was met with resounding applause, after which the newly elected officer team posed for photographs.
